Sun Dance Manchester
Manchester's only weekly Ecstatic Dance. Meditative dance journey inviting you to explore, expand and discover a new freedom through movement.
✨Dance is a powerful tool of transformation!
It’s a way of connecting more deeply with ourselves; our consciousness and our truth. The dance floor is a place to release any stuck energy within us, opening us up to pure presence and bliss💛
🌈Join us EVERY SUNDAY for this meditative dance experience🌈
Each week we have a different DJ, not one dance is the same!
ECSTATIC DANCE and SOUND BATH
We begin the session with connecting with a warm up and then we dance; moving, expressing, releasing and refilling. There are no steps to follow just freedom to move however you feel. We end the session in stillness, reflection and integration with a soothing sound bath.
Doors close at 7PM strictly.

At Sun Dance we have no rules, however we recommend following these guidelines for the best experience: - Keep the silence, speak with your bodies rather than words - Let go of expectations and allow yourself to be present - Dance barefoot where possible to ground and release - No spectating, if you’re on the dancefloor your must be dancing - Alcohol/ drug & phone free fun
FAQ - What kind of music do we play? Each week is different and often it’s a mixture of electronic and acoustic sounds. We aim to create a journey that takes you through different rhythms. There may be songs you don’t like but we encourage you to find ways to continue to stay with the journey and even express your dislike through your movements - What to wear? Comfort is the most important thing to think about - Minimum Age 16
