Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse sits on the old site of Moss Side Youth Club.

Built in 1999, Powerhouse is a place where young people can feel safe, be inspired, get involved in a range of activities and develop their personal and social skills.

Powerhouse is home to 6 main agencies all providing services for young people. These include CAPS (Child and Parent Service), Career Connect (supporting young people to gain employment or training), Contact Theatre, Emerge (CAMHS support for 16-17 year olds), Manchester Young Lives (Youth Engagement Team and Study Programme) and Powerhouse Library (open 3pm - 7pm most days, specifically for under 25’s).

As well as the agencies, we have a number of external groups who offer young people activities from Netball, Powerchair Football, Multi Sports, Drama, Carnival Dance, Street Dance, Music and more!

All young people are welcome no matter what their interests or ability. Take a look at our programme for what is currently going on!
